Led by Partner and Lead Facilitator at The Resilience Project, Martin Heppell, 3 Happy Tricks is packed with catchy tunes, memorable stories and so much energy. Embedded in all the fun is simple, practical mental health strategies designed to support children (and the adults who care for them) to build positive wellbeing habits.

With 1 in 4 primary students and 1 in 3 secondary students experiencing high levels of anxiety and/or depression, the need for a preventative approach to support young people’s mental wellbeing has never been greater. And that’s where The Resilience Project steps in. Known for their work in schools and workplaces across the country, The Resilience Project is one of Australia’s leading mental health prevention organisations, having

reached millions with the evidence-based principles of gratitude, empathy and mindfulness (affectionately known as GEM).

3 Happy Tricks is a great school holiday activity for families across Victoria to learn how to incorporate GEM strategies into their daily routines…and have a bit of fun while doing so!

“These shows are so important to me because I want every kid to know that they’re unreal just the way

they are,” says Heppell.

“Martin is unbelievable, there is no-one like him! I couldn't think of anyone better to help kids and

their parents understand how much fun they can have looking after their mental health!” says Hugh van Cuylenburg, Founder of The Resilience Project, co-host of the imperfects, and best-selling author of Finding Happiness Through Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness.
