MELBOURNE, AU (January 8, 2025) — Acclaimed DJ and producer PAWSA is making his highly anticipated return to Sydney for the first time in over five years with a headline show at Sydney's Roundhouse on Saturday 25 January.

Known for his distinctive sound and dynamic DJing skills, PAWSA has cemented his place as a key figure in the global house and techno scene. As co-founder of Solid Grooves alongside Michael Bibi, he has played an instrumental role in shaping the forward-thinking ethos that defines the brand.

PAWSA’s DJ sets are a masterclass in groove, blending deep, rolling basslines with sharp percussive elements and soulful vocal snippets. His philosophy of "letting the music do the talking" creates a profound connection between the DJ, the crowd, and the sound, ensuring each performance is a unique experience. With a string of successful releases this year—including hits like Too Cool to Be Careless, Pick Up the Phone feat. A key part of the Solid Grooves brand, PAWSA has helped to elevate Solid Grooves at DC10 Ibiza into one of the most exciting and talked-about residencies on the island. Joining PAWSA for this unforgettable night will be the talented Turkish/Italian DJ and producer Carlita, making her Australian debut. With a background as a classically trained musician and multi-instrumentalist—playing everything from drums and cello to bass and electric guitar—Carlita brings a fresh and eclectic approach to her sets. Drawing inspiration from her diverse cultural influences, including Turkish Psychedelia and Rock 'n' Roll, she blends live and electronic instruments to create a mesmerizing soundscape full of surprises. Her ability to seamlessly weave together different genres and textures ensures every performance is a captivating musical journey.

Local powerhouse Tyson O’Brien rounds out the lineup for what is set to be one of the most anticipated events of the summer.

Carlita is a Turkish DJ and producer from Istanbul. A classical musician and multi-instrumentalist (drums, cello, bass and electric guitar), she experiments with a mix of live and electronic instruments in her productions, using different synths, sampled instruments, and field recordings from her travels. With early influences ranging from Turkish Psychedelia to Rock ‘n’ Roll, she combines an ever changing kaleidoscope of sounds and cultures into a driving electronic beat. Her signature eclectic, wordly sound and diverse musical background ensure her sets are always full of surprises, as she expertly crafts a musical journey with each performance.
