Nazeem Hussain announces 3 more shows for his encore tour!
Having performed to massive crowds and selling out shows at the Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane and New Zealand Comedy Festivals, Nazeem Hussain announces his ‘You Paid for This’ Encore tour!
With shows in Wollongong, Sydney, Newcastle, Brunswick Heads and Brisbane already on sale, Live Nation has today announced 3 new shows. Nazeem will continue his tour with new shows in the Gold Coast on the 6th of September, Bendigo on the 9th of October and Geelong on the 24th of October.
For these new shows, My Live Nation members can secure tickets first during the My Live Nation presale beginning on Wednesday 11th of June at 10am local before tickets go on sale to the public on Thursday June 12th at 11am local.
Tickets to Wollongong, Sydney, Newcastle, Brunswick Heads and Brisbane shows are on sale now.
Nazeem has fast become one of the biggest stars of Australian comedy, and a much-loved television and radio personality. His Netflix special Nazeem Hussain: Public Frenemy, filmed in Montreal at the Just For Laughs Festival, streamed globally in 2019 and earned a legion of new fans and critical acclaim. Funny Or Die, and Chortle have both listed Nazeem’s special amongst their favourites.
Best known as the creator and star of his TV show Legally Brown, Nazeem followed this up with his sketch series Orange Is The New Brown, which aired on Channel 7 in late 2018 to rave reviews and has been viewed by over 10 million people. He became a household name when he reached the Grand Final of Channel 10’s I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here, and has appeared onGuy Montgomery’s Guy Mont Spelling Bee, The Project, The Weekly with Charlie Pickering and was an official correspondent for both seasons of the hit Netflix series Bill Nye Saves the World.
Winner of Best Newcomer Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Nazeem has twice been nominated for the Helpmann Award for Best Comedy Performer.
A regular on international stages, Nazeem has performed around the globe, including sell-out seasons at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, London’s Soho Theatre, all across New Zealand, Paris, Belgium, China, Singapore, Malaysia, the US (including opening for Dave Chappelle in New York City), and a homecoming show of sorts in Sri Lanka to 2,500 people (yes, the Prime Minister and his wife sat on thrones in the front row).
