MELBOURNE, AU (Wednesday, November 30, 2022) – GUY MONTGOMERY is an award-winning stand up comedian, podcaster, improviser, and Kiwi, as well as a regular visitor to our shores these days, and he returns in 2023 with his brand new stand up show My Brain is Blowing Me Crazy.
My Brain is Blowing Me Crazy will see Guy at Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Sydney Comedy Festival between March and May.

In 2022, Guy Montgomery toured his previous show Guy Montgomery by Name, Guy Montgomery by Nature and Guy Mont-Spelling Bee around Australia, selling out audiences at Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Not content to rest on his sell-out laurels, Guy returned to NZ where he appeared as a contestant on Celebrity Treasure Island. He was also one of only 8 comedians selected to perform his solo show for Live @ The Malthouse Stand Up Series, which is currently streaming on Paramount+. Similarly, Guy Mont-Spelling Bee will be released in 2023 as a TV series on NZ’s Three.
Over the past few years, the NZ Comedy Guild’s two-time Best Male Comedian award winner (2017 & 2020) has taped sets for Comedy Central US and Just For Laughs in Montreal, starred in Taskmaster New Zealand, sold out runs at the invitation-only Just For Laughs festival, Edinburgh Fringe and MICF, as well as toured his hugely successful podcast The Worst Idea of All Time across Australia, America and the UK. In Australia Guy has appeared several times on Ten’s The Project, ABC TV’s Comedy Up Late, and the annual MICF Oxfam Gala.
