Full New Zealand Tour Announced for Wilson Dixon - Love Don't Live Here Anymore, You Do

Due to demand, additional dates across Aotearoa have been added alongside his New Zealand International Comedy Festival shows.

AUCKLAND, NZ (4 April, 2024) – Wilson Dixon is known to many as the greatest country singer Cripple Creek has ever produced – as well as the only country singer Cripple Creek has ever produced.

Comedian, director, and writer, Jesse Griffin’s alter ego and country music character Wilson Dixon returns to the stage this May and June. Due to demand, additional dates across Aotearoa have been added alongside his New Zealand International Comedy Festival shows.

Life of late has been fun* for Wilson navigating his way through the pandemic denying QAnon believing alt right leaning members of his own family.

*Use of the word “fun" in the previous sentence is heavily nuanced.

Join Wilson for an intimate hour as he performs his brand-new show with brand new songs about his unfortunately not brand-new extended family.

(p.s. expect a few new stories about his binge eating angry horse Andrew).

“I’m super excited to be touring New Zealand, mainly because it means I’ll be in a different hemisphere to my horse Andrew. That horse has really been getting on my goat lately. No pun intended.”

My Live Nation members can be among the first to secure tickets during the pre-sale period starting at 11am, Friday April 5.

Tickets go on sale at 12pm, Monday April 8. For complete details, visit: livenation.co.nz
