Quote from Nazeem Hussain:

“I’m so excited to be sharing the stage with someone as hilarious as Bron. And in beautiful Cairns!? I must’ve done something truly selfless in a prior life to deserve this. I’m with Bron, this is going to be the highlight of my existence. Sorry, every other life milestone.”

Quote from Bron Lewis:

“I love Cairns and I love Nazeem Hussain, so this is set to be the best night of my life! The only thing that would make it better is if we did a comedy show, and that’s exactly what we plan to do.”

About Nazeem Hussain:

Whether you've laughed at him on TV, followed him on TikTok, or perhaps tailed him in real life (creepy, but he appreciates the commitment), now's your chance to strap in for a full dose of Nazeem, live and up-close.

Nazeem Hussain has fast become one of the biggest stars of Australian comedy and a much-loved television and radio personality, with almost 1.5 million followers on social media.

His NETFLIX special Nazeem Hussain: Public Frenemy, filmed in Montreal at the Just For Laughs Festival, was released in 2019, streaming globally in 180 countries, introducing Nazeem to a legion of new fans and garnered widespread critical acclaim. He followed it up in 2022 with Hussain in the Membrane on YouTube, with several routines from the special racking up millions of views.

A regular on international stages, Nazeem has performed around the globe, including sell-out seasons at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, London's Soho Theatre, all across New Zealand, Paris, Belgium, China, Singapore, Malaysia, the US (including opening for Dave Chappelle in New York City), and a homecoming show of sorts in Sri Lanka to 2,500 people (yes, the Prime Minister and his wife sat on thrones in the front row).

Stand-up comedy is Nazeem’s, first love. His last national tour, Hussain That? in 2022 was a sell-out. Last year also saw him host of a new season of The Pineapple Project, venture into the literary world with the release of children's book series, Hy-larious Hyena, with a highly anticipated second instalment of the series soon to be unveiled.

Don’t miss the totally normal return of Nazeem Hussain in 2024

About Bron Lewis:

Have You Been Paying Attention? regular Bron is a natural storyteller, and Obviously is packed to the brim with hilarious anecdotes of stumbling through moments of complete confusion with her fingers crossed and a smile on her face. From joining a mother’s group and sitting next to the patchouli mum, to being held hostage in Africa by a man with a plastic police badge, Bron is no stranger to pretending everything is under control. Because obviously it is.

Bron was the co-winner of Raw 2022, and her 2023 show, Probably sold out all over Australia and landed her a nomination for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s Best Newcomer award.

Never shying away from an act-out, Lewis’ comedic physicality and formidable stage presence bring every story to life.

Don’t miss Bron Lewis or you’ll miss a cracking comedy boat. Obviously.
