These talented Australian acts will be playing shows in some of Australia’s most iconic music venues. With tickets only $10, these shows will once again sell out quickly, so don’t miss your chance to show your support and Make It Count with Jack Daniel’s.
Kicking off the Make It Count Tour for 2023 are Melbourne legends, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, this will be one of the last shows held at Newcastle’s iconic music venue, the Cambridge Hotel. Since releasing their debut EP Talk Tight in 2015, the Melbourne-based five-piece have been chewing through stages across the world at a frightening pace. Early 2020 saw them gearing up once again – putting the finishing touches on second album, Sideways to New Italy, and prepping for another international tour.
Supporting these legends is the acclaimed dream-pop artist Hatchie. Hatchie has an uncanny knack for melding diverse genres—from shoegaze to pop to industrial and trip-hop—without losing herself or the listener.
Be sure to catch these acts for a final farewell to the Cambridge Hotel in Newcastle on Thursday 16 March.
Next stop on the Jack Daniel’s Make It Count Tour, heading to one of Melbourne’s favourite club spots, 170 Russell. This show has a stacked line up featuring club and festival favourites, Touch Sensitive who has gone from pizza guy to hit artist, has continually brought the goods, with his 2017 LP 'Visions' and EP ‘The 36th Level’ to more recently teaming up with Chrome Sparks releasing ‘Joy in the Morning’ in November 2022.
Tokyo-born, Sydney-based artist Nyxen, will also be joining the line-up for Melbourne’s show, performing smash hits like ‘Running’ and ‘In The City’ to more recent cuts such as ‘Insomnia’ and ‘Red P Plates’ and will be joined by Melbourne local, Juno Mamba. Juno Mamba creates dystopian soundscapes that pull the listener in with each listen, with their 2022 single ‘Us’ ranking up over 1 million streams, Juno Mamba is as much about experimenting with the unknown as it is about finding purpose with the familiar and rounding out this stellar line up will be FOURA, performing a DJ set, the steezy and sweet in style, sound and demeanor, FOURA is a unique selector and producer renowned for writing and sharing a diverse range of energetic, yet emotional, UKG-inspired Electronic, Break Beat, Speed Garage, House and Techno.
Catch this electronic and high energy line up in Melbourne at 170 Russell on Wednesday 29 March.
Local Perth legends, Sly Withers will be heading to Magnet House on ANZAC Day Eve. Releasing their third album, ‘Overgrown’ in 2022. A sequel-of-sorts to last year’s ‘Gardens’ album, it was supported by the singles ‘Passing Through’ and ‘Radio’. In March 2023, Sly Withers head off on a five-date national tour, where they’ll perform intimate acoustic shows before joining the Jack Daniel’s Make It Count Tour in April.
Joining the boys will be the potent Perth collective, Mal De Mer, a supergroup of sorts that showcase the community-built aspect of Perth's live music ecosystem, plucking members from some of the city's most exciting acts - Almond Soy, Grace Armstrong - and combining them into one project that moves with a certain energy that's difficult to find elsewhere in the state.
Don’t miss out on catching these talented Perth icons for only $10 + BF at Magnet House on Monday 24 April (ANZAC Day Eve).
